About
Originally from London, Heidi started guiding when she arrived in the City of Lights, after realising that French history was in fact a lot about men. This felt even more relevant from a foreigner’s viewpoint since the great figures of the past known abroad are Louis XIV, Napoleon or Victor Hugo. Wishing to communicate her passion for French culture through another angle, Heidi was the first ever to propose walks dedicated to female figures in public space.
Her tours are mainly located on the Left Bank, where famous writers such as Gertrude Stein or Zelda Fitzgerald used to live. She’ll show you round the charming streets of the Latin Quarter and St Germain des Prés, and guess what? Some tours are even punctuated by food tastings so that you can discover the amazing treats French cuisine has to offer.
